Kentucky blues

I have gotten the kentucky blues because I had so much to lose
I lost my family and I lost my friends and it seemed like it would never end.
I lost my job, then I lost my house and was married to a louse.
I had kids who didn't care yet their problems with me they'd share.
Everything I did would go wrong and I felt like I didn't belong.
So I got down on my knees and prayed for the Lord to help me find a better way.
When I had fallen asleep that night - my heart, body and soul took flight it took me to a place i had never been before and showed me how to open the doors.
On the door a message I read look to FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, instead
That is where the answer lies for God is there by your side
