Ken

Ken (Pleiades)

Kneeling in prayer I’m
Kissed by heavenly rays
Kindling in me flames of
Knowledge bestowed for life
Keeping me strong, safe from
Knuckling under pressure
King of my humble realm.

Paul you did a great job on this poem. I was not home on the 13th of March. I am so pleased that my poem Little Bear was on the Home page. I am happy because I am proud of that poem. I just had to tell someone how I feel. Thank you for listening .

Paul this is very lovely. One thing, we were not supposed to use proper nouns like names of people. Maybe you can call it King (and change it back later. I just want you to be on the winner list)!!

Thank you, Andrea. Yes, names is against the rules, but in this case 'ken' means knowledge, so I hope it won't be mistaken for a name (that's why I inserted a short note below the poem. Also, the title is not supposed to be included in the poem itself. Regards // paul

How clever you are Paul! And what may appear to be the name of Barbie's boyfriend is, in all actuality, everything you described in your poem!! Well done!! Big Hugggs my friend and best wishes for the contest! deb
