Keeps the Stars Apart
Poets Keep the Stars apart
I’m a Robert Frost girl
TS & Walt Whitman too
Took the road less traveled
Singin’ boundless blue
Eecummings is dear to me
Carry your heart
Like the sky of a tree
Keeps the stars apart
When I sing a song of self
Don’t turn me away
Works and days on the shelf
Let the food of love play
So I make portraits of faces
In dark clouds of sky
Universe a ball of races
Til we say goodbye
The stallion ain’t ready
To pasture just yet
My mind and hands steady
For each soul I met
Keeps the Stars Apart
Keeps the Stars Apart
Poetry Keeps the Stars Apart
