“Of the fact we are alive, we are sure
All else scriptures say, may or may not be
So presence vibrant, heart pure and demure
As formless awareness we become free” Unseeking Seeker

Diverse ways are tried to attain the sky,
Some chant the Holy Names hours after hours,
With heart filled with milk of love for the High,
Gifting incense, offerings and flowers.
Some try to reach heavens through open doors,
Treading the halls of stone where candles glow,
Kneeling in respect upon the cold floor,
To receive the words that learned voices know.
Some seek the divine far from halls of stone,
Not in the thunder of a holy sound,
But strolling amidst nature they have known,
In the gentle grace rising from the ground.
Some seek light in kindness and compassion,
Lending a helping hand to those in need,
Elevating deprived souls, their passion,
As saintly Mother Theresa, indeed.
Others, like sages, seek sparks in woods wild,
At the feet of trees that reach for the sky,
Pondering for years and years in exile
And catch glimpse of truth in airwaves that fly.
Still, others sit in rooms of quiet grey,
Silence holding a mirror to the soul,
And let the busy world just drift away,
Waiting until the broken parts are whole.
They search the inner self for sacred signs,
A gentle mercy, flowing like a stream,
And feel a thread that links with the divine,
As they lie in quietude of a dream.
Oft they eye an inner light shining bright,
That leads them to their divine destiny,
Guiding them to the path that`s ever bright,
At the sparkling edge of infinity.
There is no single path to trace the way,
The light is fractured like in a prism glass,
It finds the seeker at the end of day
And brushes through the blades of meadow grass.
So, let`s look in the mirror of our gaze,
Or heed the hum inside the inner deep,
For God is found in many hidden ways,
In what we sow and what we strive to keep.
Let us keep God`s search simple and subtle,
In line with ways that fit our inner self.
Aligned with means that meet our own mettle,
To quench the thirst for evolving ourselves.
