Keeping Your Talents

When the talents were given you were the first in line When it was time to use them you declined For what ever the reason You felt you were wasting your time As the years passed you on bye You would come to a place in time Were your talents would of benefited And made for a comfortable life Now your often known for a wasted talent How far you could of gone For what ever reasons That were right our wrong Your talents were never exposed To those who would of love to see you Achieve A wasted talent is a lost dream From young to old So often broken Before it reaches its goal When given a talent it Opens all positive ideas To just how far you can really go
