Keeping With the Symphony

My heart has proved to follow, Bending with the lights. My mind had proved to take much, When our thoughts collide. Keep playing with your symphony, Let sway become your way. And may the song you play at night, Let us see the face of day. Shall I blend and follow you, Is the choice I have before me. I look and see the blankness, That before I couldn't see. The blankness of a face, That may have come between us. The face that had me choosing, Safe instead of lust. My heart once proved to follow, And courage my mind has shown. I cannot deal this any more, I hereby spree my throne. ~Written in late-2003 (October-November) when I was fifteen.
