Keeping To Myself

I don't want to see you hurting
I can't bear to see your pain
You cared for me immensely
And not a second was in vain

So now I return the favor
And I try to make you smile
I want to hold your hand
And fix your problems all the while

I feel the pangs of envy
When someone's in your space
But I need to step aside
I'll just dream of your embrace

We work together well
And I don't want to let that go
So I'll keep these thoughts to myself
And thus you'll never know
