The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Keep Your Head High

I know you hurt day after day.
Sometimes you want to give up
and tell them 'I'm not okay'

Why do you hide the pain with a smile.
Pretend that your okay
for this short while.

You push on through,
day after day
with no time for yourself
ensuring that everybody else is okay.

I see you crying late at night
with all your children
you struggle, you fight
for something more
for something to be right

The payments are due
and he cant stop yelling at you
Your lost in this mess
not knowing what is best

The time is ticking
these moments are tricky
but you push on through
though life is sticky
