Keep the Crown For Grace

While men their last cards play Or at a fast pace do their relay Or attempt to bear life’s mace, They should The Crown keep for Grace: A sine qua non of life’s Race, Which Grace to Heavens we trace But holder of a Here-on-Earth Space; For even with our riders’ hearts Misgivings sneak into our carts And like sores start festering On discouraged faces registering … And how does one handle such case, The crown wrongly withheld from Grace?
