Keanu Reeves I have never met Keanu Reeves Never heard his real time voice I don’t know how his mind works Never felt an impact of his choice. Yet I often read the words he writes Which fill my eyes with tears For his words so charged with meaning Articulate struggle hurt and fears. My heart’s been broken many times By men of lesser grain Who hide behind their egos While callously inflicting pain. My saddened heart is weary But is there meaning to a loveless life? So, I read those words another time Before surrendering all hope to strife. I know love hurts, it can destroy But, I urge you to believe There are broken souls that can still be kind Just like Keanu Reeves. Evie H
