Today I Have to Tell You
How Very Proud I Am
Remember How it Used to Be
How You Hit the Big "Grand Slam?"
Then You Went out on Your Own
And Set the World on Fire
You Beat the Odds and Won
It Was Your Hearts Desire
Oh to See You Fight
When Things Got in Your Way
I Really Couldn't Ask for More
But There's Something I must Say
Forever I Shall Love You
I Love You like No Other
I Hope You'll Always Need Me
Because I Am Your Mother
