Kathryn's Love Part 1

Kathryn's Love Part One Come one and all And hear a tale Of love and loyalty. Kathryn's Saga, Our ancient Princess And her man Of war. A great Vikings Hall, Feasting and laughter Fires burning, Smoke filled the air. Gundar Nills, the Viking King Stands and speaks. My son, Our fathers Give you their strength On your first voyage As a true Chieftain Of your people. We come from blood, And Victory. No less can bring back To your family, The King bellowed And smiled Upon his oldest son. Yadnar the handsome, Blonde and blue eyed, The tallest and strongest Of his clan, Spoke next. My father, Our Ancients, I so respect and honor. You and those who Came before me, You have trained me, And prepared me For this very day. Glory, honor and spoils, I will bring to you, To see us all The winter through, To this I will be true. Til my departure At the suns rise, Let us laugh and drink And honor our God's! Deep into the night. Spoke Yadnar The Young. So songs were sung And battles retold And all drank Of Golden Ale. Bond fires ablaze, Naked women danced For their Viking men Who sail With the tide Before the light Of the dawn. Black Sails billowing With wanton Pride. The Vikings sailed away. They sang... We row to Glory or death Only the God's Can know. We fear not, We are Vikings, Masters of the Sea. So row we shall In the dark of night Beware, we are coming With Our Yadnar at the helm! To the beat of the drum We bend our backs Shields stowed At our side. We row To victory. In a cold stone tower, Perched on a cliff Overlooking An ancient bay, The third son Of a Noble stood On guard, In Welshland. The Norselanders always Came swift in the night, Like the thieves they were. Black Sails on moonless Waves they came. I am not the first son.... Or the second. No property will ever be mine. I don't know my future But I know my place Protect my tribe and family My life is theirs To spend.
