Kashinath
K iss of his lover still lingering in his lips,
A s the setting sun's ray kisses his face
S omething melancholy creeps in his mind;
H e is a warrior waiting for another battle.
I n case this is the last battle he would fight
N ever again will he return to his lover
A nd hold her in his strong arms tenderly
T ouching,caresssing her terracotta face,
H e thus kisses his flute, sending a sorrowful melody.
