Karma
upon the floor you laid bleeding and on your breath you wished the last
nothing left to believe in i picked you up and held you fast
i watched the world as you were sleeping kept the wolves from your door
caught your tears as you were weeping took away the pain you bore
became your friend as yours went missing turned there backs left you for dead
held your hand and i listened to all the thoughts inside your head
every day you flew higher upon the wings that i had made
as a phoenix from the fire on the rock of which im raised
times now gone your memory fading put away upon the shelf
the life i gave your forsaking you only think upon yourself
upon the floor i lay bleeding and on your breath you wish my last
in your hands the knife still gleaming forever now your dye is cast
