John Ciardi and Henry Leigh –
My eight-year-old prodigy.
She sings Ray Charles and Jackson Browne,
Benatar and Robin Lane.
Her confidence will never wane.
She loves writing and drawing,
Painting and dance.
I’m proud to be her provenance.
