Knocked down a pervasive glass ceiling And left the racist bigots reeling, Meteoric rise to Vice-Presidency And the praise for her ascendency Lets little girls know the sky is the limit And, in America, that is the prevailing spirit.

Great poem for a great woman. Perhapsthe thrid line would scan better if you could remove the Vice before Presidency. Fingers crossed, maybe one day/

The time for a woman to be vice president was long overdue, Milton. And she's certainly given hope to all little girls and inspiration to shoot for the stars. This is a lovely tribute to Kamala!
