Kaleidoscope
There is pressure in the hour glass,
I clutch the sands but will it last?
...it hangs around my neck..lingers
in a place I once belonged.
Shifting now and everything's changed,
I want to hold on and be left unfazed
..somewhere people laugh and the skies shake with imposition
yet it does not move me.
I'm standing still now.
The world has blank faces where nothing resembles you,
Pictures, Words, Memories fade.
I sit on your strong kind shoulders -where I try to recall-
A time where what had passed could have stayed,
The memory no longer lost, just frayed.
