Justice here, up there

Ten self-made moralists from earth
Once lynched an alleged evil man,
So sure, the act was well its worth.

An angel watching from heaven
Had no doubt, vile were all the ten,
Doubt lingering on the lynched one.

Police nor proof, nor need to prove,
Judges nor courts nor advocates,
On its own does the system move.

Take years sans end to strike justice,
Piles of proof, witnesses sans count,
No matter what, thou shalt still miss.

Courts on Earth count on bleeding proof,
Take all the time, still oft times goof,
Court of courts watches from earth’s roof.
