Your heart is kind, so amazing A blessing, inside… my soul is praising You’re a piece of the life, God gave A life full of purpose, a chance so brave Your soul is faithful, such sacrifice A sweet smelling joy, heavenly spice You’re a miracle of grace, God’s light A murmur of love that feels so very right Your story comes alive as dawn rises A blessing of pure wonder always surprises You’re a healing of the heaviest heart A music poured out, a song that won’t depart Your tenderness is like a breath of hope A sweet ember of encouragement so I can cope You’re a friend who is worthy of each honor A promise that tells me all my fear is a goner Your natural ability is to always inspire A sincerity that reassures my wildest desire You’re more than a blessing, I can’t describe A blessing that is just what Jesus did prescribe When I first met you, I didn’t realize How your light could be brighter than sunrise Now I know that you’re more than a friend You’re assurance that my gratitude will never end! Thank you, my friend – for all you’ve been I’ve loved you since our friendship did first begin
