Just Wait On the Lord
we think that we are in control
of our own destiny
we seem incapable of conceding
to God's authority
we want what we want
and we want it yesterday
we are to impatient to let God
have His way
we say that we are of the faith
but on the Lord we can't seem to wait
we have to learn to trust in God
and let him rule in our life
we have to learn to let go
and give control to Jesus Christ
we fail to understand that there is
not much that we can change
we fail to remember that God is the Creator
and all you see He arranged
we need to just believe
and just keep the faith
we need to be true disciple of God
and on Him learn to wait
