Just Us Two Praising God

A together praise

When I saw you linger at the bottom of the stair
In my heart I knew that God had placed you there
Oh how I needed someone special that I could love
Beheld his peace settle on you like a snow white dove

I made as if I did not see you like only shy ladies do
Silently my heart said Lord I sense it he saw me too
Standing there poised and suave at the top of the stair
Dear Lord is he the answer to my dream my prayer

Together at last we sing and praise your name
Our hearts so glad when into our lives you came
You quench our souls and we will never thirst
We love each other but Lord we loved you first
Loving each other but Lord we loved you first
