Just To Be With You

If I could fly to the moon
To be alone with you
I would

If I had to swim across the ocean
To save you there, too
I would

No matter where I have to go
Or what I have to do
I would do it, just to be with you

The simplicity and directness of this poem imbues it with sweet charm. There is no pretension, just an honest, credible pledge of loyalty. Nice composition, Melanie. Paul
