Just They'Re Grinning

This cold night bites
They have just turned off the 
lights
 
My head is spinning
they’re just grinning 

Is this actually 
real?
Tommorow will I be able to feel?

I wait and wonder and cry some 
more  
trying to rise from the cold floor 

They could hear my body 
breaking                                                                                                                   
They were just picture taking 

The blood runs down my 
knees                                                                                                                      
They all heard me scream please
 
My green eyes have now turned 
black                                                                                                                       
there is no turning back
 
I am a paper girl 
now                                                                                                                      
They should all take a bow
