Just the Way
the smell of a rose i can't define.
the sound of your laugh, how devine.
the feeling of forever is out of reach.
the crashes of waves on a beach.
the smile in your voice when you speak of me.
the way we were, the way we are, and the way we will be.
the thud of your heart when you hold me close.
the first snowflake when it snows.
the way i love you with all my heart.
the hoping for tomorrow, a brand new start.
