Just the Two of Us

The Two of Us

Just the two of us together as one

Just the two of us facing the morning sun

Just the two of us jogging along just fine

You turned to look the other way

And almost crossed that line

I snatched your leash in the knick of time

You show me your love by wagging your tail

I show you mine by filling your pail

We are together for all to see

We are together for eternity

What a beautiful week of posting and sharing of some amazing poetry. So happy to see your poetry among them Adrienne. May you find inspiration by reading some of the poetry written here by other poets also. Read and comment on their's and they will return in kind. Love, Carol
