Just Tell One Thing

Tell me something
Just one thing
It can be anything
Just make it interesting
Not something someone else said
Make it original
Something that is not so common these days
Originality
One thing, thats different from anyone else
Just one thing thats all i ask
What makes you separate from the rest of the people
That reside on this planet
Believe it or not
Originality isn't very common
Just like common sense isn't these days
What happened to the days
Where everyone had something original about them
And people weren't walking around
As a carbon copy of someone else
Because it was the "in" thing to do
It's the cool thing to do
What has happened to standing up for people
And for what you believe in
No matter what it is
What has happened to people
So please, please
Tell me one thing
It can be anything
But please make it original
Because originality these days isn't very original
