Just Such Beauty

    tender breezes blow
    soft dreamtime meanderings
    summer's closing bough

Thank you Gershon! I love when poems just bloom from my pen. This was a fragrant blossom to me. Glad you enjoyed it. Panagiota xx

Boy, was I glad for some tender breezes blowing today when I had to be outside. It's hot enough to melt your eyeballs outside. Enjoyed your lovely summer ode, Pangie. Hope you are doing well. How is Eddie's baseball season going?

John, baseball first. Since the fires began and are still raging out of control, you might not know just how bad it is. Health advisory is to stay inside. Particles of smoke are tiny and effect our lungs. So no baseball. But he is in a real classrom in a private school. I am experiencing both sadness and fear, Skies are scary looking in No Cal. Keep cool...thank you, Pangie xx

Beautiful haiku that says it all, Pangie! Many thanks for your kind comment re I Lift Up My Eyes. Usually when I'm sitting here working on the 'puter I can simply glance up and see Pikes Peak in all its glory - not today - completely obliterated by smoke. Bob
