Just Stating the Obvious Poetry Contest
One plus one adds up to two.
The opposite of fast is slow.
You stick two things with a glue.
You kiss those cheeks with your lips.
You touch something with your fingers.
The plural noun of dripping is drips.
When you raise your voice, you shout.
When you speak softly, you whisper.
You eat a sandwich with your mouth.
A mask covers a person’s face
A toothbrush is designed for your teeth
Tokyo is considered a place.
You drink from a bottle or cup.
You move your legs by running or walking.
When you’re climbing, you’re going up.
Blue and yellow makes the colour green.
When you’re tired, you sleep on a bed.
When you’re not very nice, you’re mean.
When you give an applause, you clap.
When you play a game, you’re playing.
You read directions using a map
A black patch is worn on your eye
I am just stating the obvious.
Or am I?
