Lying people, with fake smiles Always seeking to beguile Truth is not their's to reveal They never seem to keep it real Stoned people, on a high They have no wings, yet they fly Lighting up as the fire they stoke Watching it all go up in smoke Sad people, with vacant eyes Seeing only dark grey skies They've lost their joy and their cheer All they're left with is their tears Internet people, just a click away The world wide web is where they play With digital anonymity, they leave no trace As they travel through cyber space »» 6-2-18 People Poetry Contest Sponsor: Richard Lamoureux

Very well penned Joseph, I've recently written a couple of poems on a similar subject of these internet trolls , unfortunately we have no way of knowing who is behind the computer screen and often they wear a mask and cause so many problems to innocent people out there on the web:-( hugs Jan xx
