Just See
Maybe if I wait here long enough,
until my skin grows old and rough,
you might come around
and make my lost found.
I've been here for quite a while,
just sittin here, thinkin of your smile.
I'll show you I've got what it takes,
but my world is starting to quake.
In front of me I see my life pass,
now I see a half empty glass.
I still think about you everyday now,
I wish you could see me somehow.
The eyes of a fallen angel is what I see,
I look into them and see a tragedy.
I'm right in front of you, what do you see?
Nothing, you don't see me.
You carry this around,
but its as light as sound.
You have it right as the day starts,
Even as you sleep, you still have my heart.
