Just Remember One Thing

A continual societal trend that is more prevalent than ever
Instead of one trying to mend they just decided to sever
No longer any need to care not even a simple dose of compassion
For with all the hurt they bare no longer willing to take the bashing

Soon they withdraw covering all those feelings with dirt
Now just starting the fall caused from all that built up hurt
So with each passing day and every new situation
They get further and further away like spending life on vacation

Never extending a hand being once too many times burned
Unable to understand why love has continually spurned
Hurt people hurt others and so the cycle continues to go
That we are all brothers is what no one really seems to know

Be a cycle breaker and seek out that one person in need
All of us having the same Maker we are all the same indeed
And to that angry person out there with so much pain inside
Maybe some people don't care but for you your Savior died
