Just One of Fall's Sunrises
There lies fall's gray skirt close and still
Topped with a warm golden wool wrap
Sunrise creeps slowly through the chill
Awaking from a long fall nap
Cock-a-doodle-do song of cheer
Sung upon the stage in the flat
Rising volume carried up here
Helping the sun rise in a new hat
May just a start or maybe it is finished
