Just One More Minute

If you had one more minute
To do what you will,
Would you take in some beauty?
Take in your fill?

Or would you take the hand
Of someone in need?
Maybe give aide
To a would as it bleeds,

Say hello to a stranger
As he passes you by,
Or dry flowing tears
Of a woman who cries

Would you listen to children?
In fields as they play,
Or just sit and listen
With nothing to say

Would you take your last breath?
With love on your heart,
Or would bitterness devour you
As you depart

These things I ask you
Are not merely in jest,
For when it's my time to go
I'll have lived life with zest

a very thought provoking write! contemplative. Inspiring. It is easy to see you have been making up for my lack of inspiration of late!
