Just Me Being Me

                                           Time has passed by with many crossroads..
                                           Although I can't throw a baseball the same,
                                         I do now understand a lot more of the game..
                                              I may not hold my own in the trenches 
                                                  of football like when I was a teen..
                                            But now have the insight to pick a winning
                                                               fantasy team..
                                         I may never have my paintings hung at MOMA.
                                               But still my walls have a certain glow..
                                         If my words never make it to the bestseller list,
                                           or even put to a tune so two lovers can kiss..
                                              I will still be able to have my Poetry Soup..
                                     A place of a mazing friends and Poets all in one group..
