Just Like Me
I try again...
To see where you been
And then, you wish
Upon happiness beyond the anguish
You wish you would be
Just like me, just like me
You break dishes for the sake of simply expressing
You shake my inner core, but my life’s depressing
Oh, I wish you’d see
Just like me, just like me
But, you don’t get my drift and it’s frustrating
You don’t understand that I’ve been waiting
Patiently, patiently
I cry again
To see if you’d be my friend
And then, you rejected me
Ran off with the crowd of frenzy
You wish you would be
Just like me, just like me
You break dishes for the sake of simply expressing
You shake my inner core, but my life’s depressing
Oh, I wish you’d see
Just like me, just like me
But, you don’t get my drift and it’s frustrating
You don’t understand that I’ve been waiting
Patiently, patiently
It’s so easy to fall apart...
It’s so hard to mend this heart
Of stone, of stone, of stone..
Left unanswered on your phone
Just leave me alone...
I’ll be on my own
I cry again...I try again...
You wish you’d be, you wish you’d be...
Just like me
Then learn to spread your wings
And be free
