Just Like a Tree By the River
J-ust like a tree by the river,
U-nafraid of any season;
L-eaves are fresh and green,
I-ntact during dusk
E-ven at dawn.
A-n old tree by the river
N-otices not the dry spell;
N-either will it know fear, nor will it forget feeling well.
I-n June twenty-third morn,
B-ranches of the tree are tough;
A-ll of its roots are firm,
S-teadfast and so strong enough.
C-ome what may you trust in the Lord God, the Father;
O-vercome the hard time, just like a tree by the river.
