Just Let It Go

A friend once told me,
Just let it go,
The words that I fear,
Can no longer embrace,
The pain that comes,
With this disgrace,
As the pain deepens,
With every tear,
With every memory,
Of this fear,
To be held down,
With no emotions,
To be touched,
With no devotion,
Is one thing that I fear,
And in time,
I might just hear
The words that I fear,
Just let it go.
