Just Incase

Why do we try so hard with the people who don’t care?
Why do we make it hard for ourselves then complain it isn’t fair?
Why do we hurt over something we could have put an end to?
Why do we believe a lie even though we no its not the truth?
Why do we set ourselves up for something we no will end wrong?
Why do we insist on continuing even though we knew that all along ?
Why do we put so much effort into something we no is a waste?
We all do it for this reason and that reason is... just in case
Just In case that something could go right, just in case the effort is worth the fight.

We are walking contradictions indeed. Sometimes we follow our intuition and sometimes we second guess ourselves and it ends up often in a mistake. Interesting write. Thanks for sharing. Caroline.
