Just In Time

You came along,
During my time of need.
Just like in a song,
My sorrow you freed.
I had given up on love,
Despite my many endeavors.
Though thanks to God above,
My chance for love would not sever.
Then the day came when we met,
It was like it was meant to be.
A day we would never forget,
The beginning of you and me.
Just when I thought I would be alone,
By myself forever.
That thought I will condone,
For my chance did not sever.
Happy to know you,
My spirits begin to climb.
I thank God for bringing me to you,
For it happened just in time.
