Just In Case
I'm still here breathing in the air.
Just in case someone might care.
I thought maybe I'd try to write.
A word or two to shed some light.
You know the longer that we live.
The more we learn and have to give.
If we can keep our mind on track.
Maybe we can give something back.
You see with me, I tend to stray.
I'm sorry, what was I going to say.
It's scary, my brain goes completely blank.
I probably have smoking pot to thank.
Don't get me wrong, it's been many years.
But the ship get's off course when nobody steers.
So we're left out to sea trying to get back to shore.
Hoping lesson's are learned from what's been done before.
