Just Have a Ball

Each one of our precious children Is different and very unique We brought them up in the very same way But they all have different techniques They each look at life in a different way Some cynical some full of fun The fun loving ones are much like me Enjoying each day in the sun Before you know it the end approaches I'm ready it's sure been a blast We never know when our number is up So enjoy yourself to the last Quite philosophical wouldn't you say Taken eight decades of living To understand the real important things Ignoring life's many misgivings So there you have it, my take on life Don't pretend to know-it-all Just passing along some stuff I've learned Bottom line is just have a ball
