Just Giving Thanks

What a glorious day this has been,
One of those days you wished would never end.
Our little church was full, I guess as it has ever been,
I hope, I pray Your blessings never end.

Singing and praising Lord, did you see the people clapping hands,
People raising hands and smiling left and right, oh Lord wasn’t this day so grand?
Little children getting saved it fills your heart with glee,
This must be something like heaven must be.

What would we do if we did not have You?
So I thank you Father for this day and all the things You do,
You have replaced my sad face with one of jubilee,
And softened my heart the way it was intended to be.

Since I gave my heart to you I feel things so differently,
It’s just a feeling you get when you’ve been totally set free.
You are my life the reason that I’m here.
So thank you Father for this day and you’re presence for being so near.
