Just For Kicks

to feel illusion
we pause in melancholy 
how fake can we get

to feel sudden rage
awareness veiled by ego
great bed time story

animal cravings
erst instincts from which risen
shudder of horror

delusion dispelled
in the void of staid stillness 
bubbling bliss bursts forth
