Just Call On Him

His name is JESUS,
When you invite him in your life
your chance for salvation increases,

He is the MESSIAH
it is him who I love,
Because he died for me
and there's power in his name
and in his blood,

He is my SAVIOR
Once I surrendered to him
I saw a change in my behavior,
and now i'm highly favored,

He is the MIGHTY ONE who's annointed,
With him i'm never lonely
or am I disappointed,

His name is EMANNUEL my lord,
I wear his armor, I hold his shield
and I clutch his sword,

He is THE PRINCE OF PEACE,
He gets all the praise
See it is he who rescued me
from a den of thieves,

He is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD
So I worship his holy name
and give him the glory,
I owe him everything, he's my rock
and he allows me to tell my story,

He is the TRUTH AND THE WAY,
So when times get tough
I kneel down and I pray,

He is the MORNING STAR
AND THE SON OF GOD,
He's THE GREAT I AM
and he gets my nod,
So I shout to the heavens as well as applaud,

He's the ALPHA & OMEGA
He came to save the fallen,
and yes he has many names
just choose 1 and call him. [ I do ]

Louis: Thank you for sharing this with a lost and dieing world. I know more about truth than I do poetry so I will judge you on that. :o) He is all those things and more but less and less understand. I anxiously await His return for us but will rhyme until He comes. your brother in Him, oldbuck
