Just Because Memories

Life is a struggle when you feel so alone.
Missing your family and childhood home.
These days are so different than what it used to be.
I wish we were together again living happily.
As I look thru old pictures tears roll off my cheek.
Remembering times we've shared like just because memories.
Having you in my life has made me who I am.
Down in my roots
My future and my past.
We may be miles away
I carry you in my heart
I love you more than you know
Even passed the shining stars.
