Just because I chose, not to complain That didn’t mean I felt no pain Just because I listened, to the breeze That didn’t mean winds blew with ease Just because you held grudges,on your finger tips That did mean I gave your hand the slip Just because I liked the smell of the rain That didn’t mean you could make me cry again Just because I embraced courage That didn’t mean there was no damage Just because I smiled in the sun That didn’t mean my needing was done Just because I wore my heart on my sleeve That did not mean you could get up and leave! 14.6.2021 Sponsor: Brian Strand Contest: All Yours June'15 First Place.
