While it's okay to try to imitate certain thngs in others we may notice and admire we must remember that like snow flakes , there are no two people exactly alike and that's really a good thing. Nowhere else in all the earth is there anyone JUST LIKE YOU. Even if you have an identical twin you are still a unique individual. To thine own self be true.

It's not enough to try to be, What others think you ought-a be, Because no matter how you try, You're never really gonna be. All you can do is try to be, What inately you should be. It is as it is, you are as you are, It's all you're ever gonna be. So be the best that you can be, As God has meant for you to be. Be the best You you can be, 'Cause no one else will ever be.

Life has it's plus or minus, but our aim will always be not to emulate others but rather to eliminate as much as possible the minus in our behaviour. ~~

Right on Victor. Too often we try to emulate the personification of people we admire instead of just being proud of who and what we are. Get rid of the bad habits and encourage good ones but don't LOSE your SELF. Thanks bunches Victor. God Bless, JB

Hi Judy, I agree. Trying to be what others want us to be is so nerve-wracking. We have to get to a point where we are comfortable in our skin. Just love and accept our “own” self, warts and all. Good message. I enjoyed the read. Have a wonderful day:-) Alexis
