Just Be You

You could never be me, For I am not you, You could never do what I do, For my life’s path is not yours. You are you and I am me, We need each other, But still you can never be me. You have your road to travel and I have mine, We both will be able to make it, if we take our time. The things I do, the places I go, It’s all about my destiny, And not yours, you see. For I am just being me and you just be you. To cross your Jordan, you must not forget, Where you came from and where you are going at. You are the daughter of the King, Made for great things. So step up! Step out! And show the world what you are all about. You were bought with His precious blood, He has set you free, For He washed you white as snow, Clothed you with humility, Now You are royalty, Go fulfill all you were meant to be. Sometimes when you feel down and out, Just think of your JESUS and shout. Be all you can be, And Stand strong as a testimony, For you are a child of destiny. Be an original don’t be a copy, You are one of a kind, Shaped by the Master’s Hand, Created by His will, With one purpose in mind. Young and beautiful, Glowing with grace Keep that smile on your face. No one can take that from you, Be you, only you can carry it through. Don’t let them tell you, You can’t achieve that! Don’t let it be said that you are not good enough. Believe in yourself and know what you’re about. Do the best you can, Hold on to the Lord’s hand, Rise up and stand. God has bestowed in you His child, Amazing talents, gifts so divine. Use it wisely, don’t abuse it. Remember, royal blood flows through your veins. So be the princess called by His Name. For your Father is the Great King, And we must spread His fame. Testing and trials you must endure, Stand up strong you are not alone. For everything will be alright, Knowing it’s only for a little while. So remember He says you are more than a conqueror, And no weapon formed against you can ever prosper! So hold on tightly to the Lord’s hand, And be the difference your God has called you to be, In this part of the land! Finally my dear sister’s, Don’t be an imitator! Don’t be a spectator!
