Just Ask

Just Ask (Verse 1) Everyday we have a million questions we could ask It's like, completing a task Could I get it done? Am I going to loose? What direction Will I go in? I got to choose Will I stay in the fast lane, with speed? Will I slow down that's what I need Will I seek precaution In all aspects of life Will I one day get it right? Made enough mistakes Had enough on my plate Somethings are still there, I can't rake Trying to do better Am I a picture from my past You will never know Unless you just ask (Chorus) There are a lot of things A person would never know% Don't always wait for approval Sometimes you have to go Leave the past behind ya,don't worry Its important to read the whole story What's an answer, if you can't state facts How will you know if you never ask (Verse 2) My language is different I ask in many different ways You can sometimes See it as plain as the day I didn't know Sat back and observed Based my outlook On what I heard Didn't day a word , at all My chapter stopped Scanned through the pages Upon my life Finally somehow getting it right Chorus) There are a lot of things A person would never know Don't always wait for approval Sometimes you have to go Leave the past behind ya,don't worry Its important to read the whole story What's an answer, if you can't state facts How will you know if you never ask Hook Just ask You will see That there is more Than you see when a question is answered with certainty Just ask You will see That there's more Than you see when a question is answered with certainty Chorus) There are a lot of things A person would never know Don't always wait for approval Sometimes you have to go Leave the past behind ya,don't worry Its important to read the whole story What's an answer, if you can't state facts How will you know if you never ask Repeat until chorus fades Written by:Concetta Hardnett 8/25/2016
