Just As I Am

Just As I Am This was a great song to sing. Back in the day, I do believe. Just yesterday was so long ago. Just like fishing, It’s where the river flows. I remember living in my first house. I miss those days living in a small town. Going to church every Sunday was a great memory. Being young and so carefree. Time has gone by so fast. I wish the good old days would last. “Just As I am”, I look into the sky. One day we will be lifted up so we can fly. No going back to the old. You can only wonder what we will face tomorrow. Where do we stand in a song? I’ve missed you while you were gone. I just wanted to say I miss your smile. Together we walked a long mile. I will never forget the nice things you’ve said. You look so lovely dressed in red. No matter how lost I was back in the day. You came back to show me the way. I’m sorry I never said the words you needed to hear. Together we watched the sunset by the pier.
